Di questa seconda missione suicida, già apprezzata da molti, un nuovo gruppo di galeotti attrezzati di stravaganti super poteri vengono ricattati ad arte da una solerte e spietata burocrate allo scopo di assaltare un piccolo stato canaglia.
Coinvolta nella missione ci sarà l’immancabile Harley Quinn che condirà con schegge di follia un contesto che già di per sé contiene un coefficiente di esagerazioni degno di un caleidoscopio. Per questo la trama non si disperde in rivoli insensati. Mantiene, invece, una certa coerenza. I personaggi, per quanto stravaganti, hanno ognuno una propria parabola narrativa piuttosto apprezzabile.
Le trovate registiche sono di alto livello. Tanto che il regista, James Gunn, già regista di “Super” e “Guardiani della galassia” ha ottenuto carta bianca per questo progetto.
Sia sceneggiatura che montaggio, sia le musiche che gli effetti speciali, sono ben composti e compatibilmente con il genere di riferimento costituisce un piccolo gioiello cinematografico. Persino l’iper violenza, accompagnata da dolci musichette romantiche, dà al tutto un tono ludico e sfacciato. Molte delle classiche movenze di questo tipo di film vengono ribaltate. I cattivi non sono una reale minaccia e il mostro gigante è quasi una vittima delle manipolazioni umane, nonostante sembri lui il burattinaio. Sono, in realtà, dei pretesti per portare i personaggi ad una mutazione virtuosa quando non alla morte.
Consigliato agli estimatori di Deadpool e non ai fan degli eroi tutti d’un pezzo.

Harley Quinn will be inevitably involved in the mission. She will season with splinters of madness a context that in itself contains a coefficient of exaggerations worthy of a kaleidoscope. It does not mean that the plot is dispersed in senseless rivulets. Instead, it maintains a certain consistency. The characters, however extravagant, have their own rather appreciable narrative parable. The directorial stunts are of a high level as the director James Gunn, former director of “Super” and “Guardians of the Galaxy”, has obtained carte blanche for this project.
Both the script and the editing, both the music and the special effects are well composed and, compatibly with the genre of reference, constitutes a small cinematic jewel. Even the hyper violence accompanied by sweet romantic music gives to the movie a playful and cheeky tone. Many of the classic moves of this type of film are reversed. The villains are not a real threat and the giant monster is almost a victim of human manipulation even if he looks like the puppeteer. Actually, they are pretexts to bring the characters to a virtuous mutation if not to death.
Recommended for Deadpool fans and not fans of all-in-one heroes.
