Il Festival Religioso di Myanmar
È una festa religiosa che annualmente si tiene nello stato una volta chiamato Birmania. Danza, musica, teatro, devozione, e la gente è felicissima nel praticare queste performance.
Quest’anno si terrà dal 15 al 22 marzo (la data cambia secondo il tradizionale calendario lunare).
Sostanzialmente è un atto di adorazione di una divinità minore. Ko Gyi Kyaw, uno dei 37 “spiriti” chiamati Nat che il re Anawrahta introdusse nel secolo 11mo quando assunse il Buddismo come religione di stato. Una divinità minore che presiede al vizio, e per questa detta debaucherous, dissoluta, a cui piace molto bere e scommettere. E la gente impazza e danza fino allo sfinimento.
L’annuale DesignMarch in Islanda
A causa del Covid-19, l’edizione 2021 del DesignMarch si terrà dal 19 al 23 maggio.
Fu fatto nascere nel pieno dell’ultima crisi finanziaria, cioè 12 anni fa, con una visione ottimistica a partire, appunto, sul design in generale focalizzato sulla creazione locale ma con ampliamento internazionale.
Diretto da Þórey Einarsdóttir, nell’ultima edizione (2020) DesignMarch ha realizzato oltre 80 mostre e un centinaio di eventi, con un’attenzione appropriata al design progressivo e all’innovazione.
Approcci nuovi e sorprendenti, una piattaforma vibrante di idee, prospettive diverse e forza trainante della conoscenza che arricchisce e migliora la società. Insomma, “un presagio di ottimismo e creatività”.
Teatro e Digitale a Strasburgo
Rebonds d’Histoires è una compagnia teatrale con sede a Strasburgo fondata da Matthieu Epp. Dalla sua fondazione si è focalizzata sullo storytelling, con puntuali incursioni dell’improvvisazione che si alternano al copione scritto. Con il prossimo progetto Les Runes d’Odin è prevista anche l’introduzione di supporti tecnologici digitali. Il debutto, previsto per marzo 2021, è tuttora legato agli esiti della pandemia in Francia.
Il focus di Epp e della sua compagnia è la narrazione di storie legate alla tradizione orale e scritta francofona, anche di genere mitologico. L’ausilio della tecnologia permette allo spettatore di vivere un’esperienza immersiva e al performer di studiare le reazioni del pubblico, da cui riceve stimoli nel tarare le successive azioni d’improvvisazione o da copione.
Con Les Runes d’Odin, spettacolo ideato per ragazzi e adulti, Rebonds d’Histoires inaugura l’utilizzo del videogioco all’interno della performance. In questo modo pone la questione drammaturgica in chiave di integrazione/ibridazione fra le diverse forme espressive dello spettacolo.

Myanmar Religious Festival
It is an early religious festival celebrated in the state that was once called Birmania bordering with India, Cina, Thailand, Bangladesh, Laos. Dance, music, theater, devotion which strongly involve people. This year it will be held on 15th to 22nd March (the date changes according to the traditional lunar calendar). Basically it is an act of worship of a minor deity. We refer to Ko Gyi Kyaw, one of the 37 “spirits” called Nat that King Anawrahta introduced in the 11th century when he adopted Buddhism as the state religion. A deity who presides over vice, and for this reason called debaucherous, liking so much to drink and gamble. People go crazy and dance until exhausted.
Iceland, DesignMarch
Because of Covid-19 2021 DesignMarch is bound to be held on May,19th through 23rd.
In the middle of the recent last financial crisis, that is 12 years ago, an optimistic overview gave way to this already engrained initiative on design in general, about the local creation and well beyond it.
Directed by Þórey Einarsdóttir, DesignMarch’s last edition reached over 80 shows and 100 side events, with an appropriate attention to progressive design and innovation, new and surprising approaches, a vibrant platform for ideas, diverse perspectives and knowledge driving force that enriches and enhances society. In brief, “a harbinger of optimism and creativity”.
Theater and Digital in Strasbourg
Rebonds d’Histoires is a Strasbourg-based theater company founded by Matthieu Epp. Since its foundation it has focused on storytelling, with interferences of improvisations, that alternate with the written script. With the upcoming Les Runes d’Odin project, the introduction of digital technological supports is also planned. The debut, scheduled for March 2021, is still linked to the evolution of the pandemic in France.
The focus of Epp and his company is the narration of stories related to the French-speaking oral and written tradition, and also of a mythological genre. The support of technology allows both the viewer to live an immersive experience and the performer to study the reactions of the audience, which will offer him information on how to balance the subsequent improvisations or script actions.
With Les Runes d’Odin, a show designed for children and adults, Rebonds d’Histoires gives way to the use of the videogame within the show. It also places the dramaturgical question in terms of integration/ hybridization between the different expressive forms of the arts involved.
